Bournemouth

Our Bournemouth Aspire Life Sports team support a number of schools in the local area. Our work varies: from running lunch clubs and after school clubs, to mentoring secondary school students on a 1-2-1 basis.

Our brilliant team, currently made up of over 15 staff members, can proudly say that we have set the bar high when working with our local schools. Our staff are professionally trained, are passionate about working with children and have a wealth of experience, which means that the best service is always provided.

Schools we work with in the Bournemouth Area

  • Iford Academy

At Iford Academy we offer teaching support in classrooms, one-to-one and small group support both onsite and offsite and physical education lessons. We have been working with Iford Academy for over 2 years now and our staff have formed an excellent relationship with the school.

  • St James’ C of E School

At St James’ C of E School, we currently offer a wide range of after school clubs from Monday to Friday and normally offer holiday clubs during the Summer, Easter and Christmas Holidays.

  • Pokesdown Primary School

At Pokesdown Primary School we offer lunch clubs and after school clubs from Monday to Friday, which consist of fun team games and sport to keep the children engaged and active.

  • Arnewood School

At Arnewood School, we offer one-to-one sessions, allowing our staff to build strong relationships with the students in order to provide them with the support needed.

Working with BCP Council

  • At Aspire, we can proudly say that we work closely with our local council: Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council. We have had a successful partnership for nearly two years which has allowed us to help children in the local community, some of whom some are currently out of education.

We support schools & BCP by providing one-to-one and small group sessions to pupils, both inside and outside of school, allowing our mentors to build healthy relationships with the children and support them as needed.

  • We are lucky enough to receive Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Program funding from BCP during the school holidays, which allows us to provide free holiday club spaces to children who would benefit from it most within the local community.

Children at our HAF holiday clubs receive a day full of exciting activities with our amazing staff, as well as a nutritious hot lunch.

Saturday Football Club- New Milton

Our Saturday Football Club held at Fawcett’s Field, New Milton is split into two session times: 9:30-10:30am for 4-7 year-olds and 10:30-11:30am for 8-12 year-olds. It costs just £5 per child and we welcome children of all abilities! No need to book.

Children are welcome to be dropped off before the club starts where they’ll be welcomed by a member of the Aspire Life Sports team at the club house. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.
